Reconciliation (Confession)

Confessions are available in the Church Patio every Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, and in the Church confessional 4:30 pm to 5:15 pm.
 
Saturday Mornings 11:30a-12:30p - PATIO
A remnant from when people could only meet with their priest in the open air, outside confessions remain available. Many find it a pleasant time and location. During confessions, the church is open for Eucharistic Adoration.
 
Saturday Afternoons 4:30p-5:20p - INSIDE CONFESSIONAL
Confessions inside are available for penitents who prefer the enclosure of the confessional. By default, the curtain between priest and penitent is closed for anonymity. The curtain may be opened if a face-to-face confession is preferred.

[NOTE: The confessor is also the presider of the 5:30 Mass, and must leave for the sacristy at 5:20p. Those who are still waiting for confession at that time, will be served directly after the Mass.]


SOME GENERAL REMARKS ABOUT CONFESSION

If it has been a while (especially many years) since you went to confession and/or if you are experiencing a major re-conversion, it may be helpful to make a special appointment with Fr. Albert for a scheduled confession.

If you are a regular penitent, and there is a line of people waiting, please be succinct in the confessional.  The Lord knows all things, there is no need for explanations to the priest. If you don't have the Act of Contrition memorized, please pull it up on your phone.
