The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a powerful expression of God's healing love. It is available for those who are seriously ill, elderly, or preparing for surgery. It can only be given by a priest or a bishop.
This sacrament brings spiritual strength, peace, and courage. We encourage families not to wait until death is immanent to seek this grace for their loved ones.
A Healing Mass for the public is offered in the church every Lent and Advent on a Sunday evening, as part of the Reconciliation Penance Service in preparation of the celebration of Easter and Christmas.
