In July 2019, he was appointed Administrator of St. Mark and was installed as Pastor on July 10, 2021, by Bishop Edward Clark. He has started energetically to help unlock Saint Mark's great potential for the future, growing as an authentic and diverse Catholic community. Living in the United States since 2009, Fr. Albert perfected the art of baking Flemish fries with American potatoes and the Dutch delicacy of Stroopwafels using ingredients from Californian soil.

Deacon Charlie Echeverry is married to Jessica, his wife of 23 years, and together they’ve raised five children in Los Angeles, CA. Ordained by Archbishop José Gomez in 2017, he serves in ministries focused on media, evangelization, apologetics, homelessness, and faith formation.
He preaches and speaks across the U.S., produces Catholic film and television, and hosts Living the Call, a podcast exploring faith and pop culture influence. His debut book, BLIND SPOT, will be published by Notre Dame in February 2026.
Before founding his firm Black//Brown, Deacon Charlie held senior executive roles at global media giants including The Walt Disney Company, Univision, and AOL, as well as several tech and media start-ups.
He is Vice Chair Emeritus of Catholic Answers and serves on the boards of John Paul the Great Catholic University, Vagabond Missions, the Catholic Association for Latino Leadership, Guadalupe Radio, SENT Ventures, and SOFESA, a nonprofit serving homeless families.
His work and witness have been featured by EWTN, America Magazine, The Lila Rose Podcast, Relevant Radio and Catholic Answers, among others.
