YES, I DO!

Recently, we have seen a growing number of couples wanting to get married in the Catholic Church, which is a great development!

At Saint Mark we are glad to help you prepare for this great Sacrament of Service, in which adults are helped to reach their full potential as human beings. We believe strongly in the "Integrity of the Sacraments" which means that the graces received in Matrimony strongly depend on the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation earlier received.

We can only truly walk with you toward matrimony if you intend to walk with the Church: come to Mass regularly, offer your unique gifts in service to the people of the parish and those we serve, and contribute financially to the community of faith at St Mark.

To determine whether Saint Mark is the right fit for your wedding, each of the future spouses must complete this Questionnaire.  Once both are completed, we will reach out to have an initial conversation and discuss your specific circumstances.

We recommend initiating the process at least six months prior to your desired wedding date, or even earlier in the case of a "destination wedding" (especially when spouses are not yet parishioners), or when either future spouse may be lacking one or more Sacraments of Initiation.
