Artwork in our Parish

God gave mankind a special gift: to express their love for him in art. From the earliest beginnings of Christianity, churches have been enriched with those expressions, called Sacred Art. It helped the faithful to pray. And by commissioning works of art, the Church has stimulated the creation of the most exquisite paintings, architecture, statues and music.

Saint Mark wants to stand in that tradition and spread the Gospel through the commissioning of new Sacred Art.

Our latest acquisition is a ceramic by Maria Magdalena Suarez (born 1929), a long time parishioner/artist, called: "Christ with Cartoons." (picture on the left)
